terminator Posted February 6, 2004 Share Posted February 6, 2004 Bill, as we discussed via email I cannot synch up with Bob B. as a witness in a timeframe that would be fair to the rest of the folks awaiting certification. I'd hate to hold the process up for anyone else. I have arranged for another witness (with your approval) who is much more easily accessible for me, Brian Mottola. This will enable me to return the MM gripper into the pipeline as quickly as possible. He's new to the Grip game, but he's already certified on a 215kg challenge bar and is knocking on the door of the #3. I wanted to post this to inform the Gripboard members that we had agreed to change my witness in the interest of expediting the rest of the scheduled certifications. Remember all the rules, etc. Box must be opened on video, fill out the form, etc. etc. Get a good shot of the close in close up fashion. It's critical. Shoulda rescheduled as I was sick as a dog.....plus too many antibiotics and decongestants in my system. I wasn't just weak on grippers, everything sucked yesterday. Nice gripper, virtually equivalent to my third hardest #3 in a side by side comparison, a gripper which I had doubled earlier in the week. I'll have a rematch when everyone else has their shot, congrats to the guys who nailed it. Sorry for the delay in posting, I never made it online yesterday. I'll send it right out Bill. One thing I learned, and have known for a very long time is that you can't be "on" all the time. It's simply not in my character to re-schedule because of being sick.......you just gotta be willing to put these things on the line whenever and wherever. Sometimes you succeed, sometimes you miss by a bit......notice I didn't say fail, the only failure is not trying. Good luck to Rick and the rest of you guys.....
