Snaplight
com·bat·ive [ˈkɒmbətɪv, ˈkʌmbətɪv, kəmˈbatɪv] adjective ready or eager to fight or argue: "he made some enemies with his combative style" Combative - is broadly speaking a catch all term to be engaged in man-to-man physical exchange of violence. It will involve grabbing of clothing, grabbing of wrists to pull an opponent off balance , possibly more delicate structures as the throat , trachea or wrist manipulation ( breakage ) or finger ( breakage ) I wonder if anyone here could suggest what sort of training programme or style or choice of exercises may best build these type of tools and abilities. slazbob
Chimpanzees are pretty good at that. strength speed and animal instincts are what you need.

Sorry , I may not have made it clear - I am looking for specifically - suggested forearm training and grip type exercises that would be better suited to assist in the grappling , tearing , crushing , ripping , pulling , poking aspect of combatives.
