Luke Blackwell
Thank God for the weekend. Hope everyone is enjoying theirs. Here we go.... -warm-up- (Right Hand) 1 x 3 #2.5 mms 1 x 4 #2.5 mms.... Felt Much better this time. Was a little stiff on last set 1 x 2 #2.5 mms....went for a 3rd, but missed slightly. Cheated shut. 1 x 3 #2 ccs 1 x 4 #2 20mm block ......Trainer pump finish ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (Left hand) 1 x 2 #2 mms 1 x 1 #2 mms missed 2nd, cheated shut 1 x 8 #1.5 mms 1 x 6 #1.5 20mm 1 x 6 #1.5 mms ......Trainer pump finish Note: I find that the sometimes, the first working set feels a bit stiff and awkward. When that happens, usually the second set is much better. Even though I do a very thorough warm up, it just works out that way.

Luke Blackwell
The last couple of weeks, I've been messing around with Tns work after my Saturday session; Just to see where I'm at. I've managed closing my 1.5 for a few reps on both hands. Maybe if i wasnt completely fatigued from my grip session, I could do more. Tns isn't something I've ever trained before, but I kinda like the idea. I might integrate it into my training in the future. ...But right now, I'm focused on the 3
Luke Blackwell
Pullup session went well. I always get a nice pump, especially in the core. I have Mondays off work, so I get to take it easy one more day. Hope everyone else has a good work week ahead...
Luke Blackwell
Warm-up.... (Right Hand) 1 x 1 filed #2.5 max effort 1 x 2 filed #2.5 negatives 1 x 3 normal #2.5 mms (last 2 reps assisted) 1 x 4 #2 mms overcrush reps 1 x hold #2 (15 sec) ...Trainer pump finish (32 reps) (Left Hand) 1 x 2 #2 mms 1 x 3 #2 (assisted mms reps) 1 x 2 #2 mms (last rep cheated shut) 1 x 5 #1.5 mms ...Trainer pump finish (25 reps) Note: During the set, I occasionally have a bad habit of using my ring finger to climb over my setting finger. This usually puts my whole hand too low and my pinkie trys to fall off. It's easily fixable though. Just another one of those micro adjustments that need to be made.
Luke Blackwell
Got a nice little burn on my thumb pad yesterday. Accidentally grabbed some hot exhaust. Grippers shouldn't be a problem tomorrow though, it's already feeling better... I gotta be more careful

I personally tthink you and John are in one of the best job fields as far as trade goes, but its hard work. Just protect your eyes and ears and try and stand on rubber mats vs concrete floor all day.

Luke Blackwell
And I agree, it's a good trade these days. I've seen half a dozen employees come and go here. You'd be suprised how hard it is to find good techs. Thats why I wanna know my stuff

Luke Blackwell
The shop itself is pretty old. This is the alignment machine we use here. It's from the 70's I believe. All mirrors and lights. No fancy lasers like modern ones. I've gotten very proficient with using it..
