It's a great gripper and very cool addition to my collection. And yes...certainly tougher than it looks!

The problem is, with some of the other things I'm seeing around certs, and people not having faith in them, I don't know where I would start by way of making sure all certs were legit. It's definitely something I'll give some thought. there is this vid on YT by @dubyagrip making a demonstration on how to measure a gripper before and after a close that is more than sufficient proof for a legit close that (afaik) no cert is implementing

Got the Atomgripz 6-Band back from Cannon PowerWorks - rated a whopping... 355 lbs! Carl Myerscough
Atomgripz were kind enough to send me a range of grippers to review. I hope to get this done in the next 2 weeks. I did a small training session with them so far, and I would say that the rgc numbers from the previous older ones are not much of an indication of the difficulty of the new batch. The new ones being much harder
Slipshod Posted yesterday at 05:11 PM Share Posted yesterday at 05:11 PM Depends on how the 4 band rating comes in, the one I have from the initial run (after being relaunched) is harder than my GHP 8/CoC 3/WT Elite. A high mounted 4 is going to be pretty brutal, although narrow spread might drop that a bit. For reference the specs are: 72.07 x 7.99mm on my 4 band aluminium. I do have a 4 band ultra narrow which feels around a 2.5 with the specs 42.16 x 7.95mm. This wasn't a requested/offered width, it was one that Lloyd had available if I did not want to wait - which I didn't. With a high mount it would probably rate around mid/high 130s
