Londonjoseph
More volume. 9x black triangle 1/4"x6" grade 8 bolt suede pads touching in the middle underhand style. All done one right after the other. Had to re wrap the head every time but it didn't take long at all. I took no real rest. Even the 9th one felt easy I melted it. Honestly I think I could have done 20 of these, or at least 15.
Londonjoseph
Some big fixed plate pinches today. Some band bloodflow. 3x50 Riser; pronation.
Londonjoseph
New PR. Diamond bronco 00. Hardest shoe I ever did. Took a long time.
Londonjoseph
5.5" X3/8" hot dipped 80D braced attempt. I've never moved one of these even slightly, so this is a huge improvement today. Got stuck here and kept trying for 30 minutes. Great workout. I am thoroughly beat. Those isometric attempts over the span of 30 minutes is great training to me.

Londonjoseph
Did some armwrestling training Practice pulling, about 20 hard pulls each hand. Strict hand based pronation curl- 60lbs 3x5 Strict riser curl- 50lbs 3x5 Showed my friend a 5x5kg eleiko plate pinch. Just one lift. Then I did a strict standing plate curl with 4x5kg. He thought that was more impressive. Great training and the missing fingernail did not deter me.

Londonjoseph
Rested for a day, then saw a friend yesterday. We arm wrestled a little bit. It was nice. Probably about 10 pulls each hand total. Todays stuff- 5x5kg plate pinch, 5 sets of 5 second holds each hand. Horseshoe isometrics, 20 kink attempts. Went home from work (I do all these exercises on my lunch break), slept, rested a little bit. Spontaneously tried a noble force 175kg bar in ironmind pads. I actually stretched with a band and the bar to get warmed up. Took about 1 minute to do. That's very good for me, I have not done any double overhand bending since 8 months ago. This is not close to my best bend in IMP's but that's ok. It's a great start. For reference, with the Russian rating system, it would be 2.9x whatever the bar says in kg to translate to the way Americans rate steel. Americans use what's called the Krahling method. @devinhoo has rated a lot of bars this way (God bless him and his website eatchalkgetbig). So this bar would be ~507.5lbs in his ratings. Around a hard hexabastard, which feels right to me. Alex is doing another king of CRS competition. I have plenty of time to prep, and I will get back to overhand bending. I will come in the best shape that's possible.

Londonjoseph
Just 3x grade 5 bolt DU rolled up in one ironmind pad, finished DO. More or less testing hand toughness with this one. Good refresher. 15x isometric knee kink attempts with a 19"x5/8" hot rolled bar. Was tired today, simple stuff but good work.

At least I have a good source for 9/32" CRS, that should rate around the same at 6" as an average G5 if I only do the underhand part. So strange that I can buy that easily in a country that uses the metric system. Maybe because of the car industry. Anyways, nice bend London!

Same bolt, DU in 1/3 cordura I feel like I am on the path of the iron palm
Austin Seitter
I’ve got a feeling you’re gunna wreak some havoc on some barehanded certs soon. That’s a gnarly bend and you did it buttery smooth!

That’s a gnarly bend and you did it buttery smooth! Thanks Austin. The only barehanded certs are the horrido ones. An A2 would be very difficult, given it's stainless and a bolt as well. However, I do think I have the grit to do one.

Londonjoseph
I have a huge armwrestling supermatch set up for a state ranking. I feel very positive I will win. However, I feel very nervous and pressured because my grandfather will be there. He has cancer and stopped his treatment. Eventually the tumor in his lungs will cut off his airways. I feel like I can't afford to lose, and I feel the weight of the world on my shoulders. I've been very good about taking care of myself and doing better. I think about drinking every day but I know if I go back to it I'll fail, and I can't do that in front of my grandfather. I've been training and planning super carefully. I feel an extreme amount of mental weight and burden I have not felt before. I know I can do this if I gather up all my courage and strength. I gotta do it for me and for him.
