No, never take a break from DU 😢

Well, if it doesn't go away from taking a break, I will just find another way to hold the wrap/bar with my left.
I will probably do more reverse though

Quick one
Hopefully, in two weeks, I will have more time again to train

Grippers RH
20mm block set
- 3x3 Standard Adjustable W, RGC 130, 2-sec hold on each close
10mm (bottom) choked
- 2x1 Stainless Adjustable, RGC 168

Barbell reverse curls
- 5x12 58.9kg/129.9lb

with my Inch trainer (using it as a barbell), that's why the weird weight

LH - Inch trainer
- 5x1 68.9kg/152.9lb level lift, 2-sec hold on top
- 2x1 68.9kg/152.9lb level lift

+ 1x fail at knees same weight (kept it level)

RH - Grippers
20mm block set
- 5x3 Standard Adjustable Ti, RGC 137, 2-sec hold on each close
I made sure to rest enough between the sets, because with the holds, this got hard for me at set 3.
I didn't do choked closes this time, because I have one more gripper session this week, and this was more than enough crushing.
20mm set practice
- 3x1 Standard Cobalt, RGC 165
Just the set + swipe the block without crush

- 6x15 20kg/44lb

Neck extensions
- 4x20, 2x18 25kg/55lb

Chest crush armbar
- 6x20 max resistance with small pause at close

Measuring gripper max with 20mm block set

- Standard Ni, RGC 156 ⚪
This was the main goal, so I asked my wife to record this one. Unfortunately, she turned the video off before showing the tag, but oh well. I'm happy about this, I could hold the close for a few seconds.
- Standard Co, RGC 165 🔴
Nope. Was close though.
- Standard Adjustable W, RGC 160 ⚪
I think this is about my 20mm block max at this point, I didn't attempt anything harder.

This was a successful 8-week cycle. Btw besides that deload workout last week, I didn't do anything else. I don't mind though, I had time to focus on my other hobbies a little bit more 🙂. But I'm back, this week will be as usual.

Grippers - RH
New cycle
20mm block set
- 5x4 Stainless Adjustable, RGC 126, 2-sec hold on each close

I can't find the hex key needed to adjust my Standard Adjustables... So annoying because I have a billion hex keys but  none of them is imperial/in inches.

Inch trainer - LH
- 73.9kg/162.9lb fail
Lifted it to maybe ~10" (level), but no luck.
- 1x1 71.4kg/157.4lb level lift
- 3x1 68.9kg/151.9lb level lift with 3-sec hold on top

Strong workout and good idea for the gripper hold for each rep!

Thank you! I'm having success with this style. Of course the RGC I can use goes down a lot (especially with reps of 3-5), but gets me a lot of time under tension

Weighted pause pushups with pushup stands
- 6x15 20kg/44lb

Triceps pushdown
- 6x18 purple band looped

Dumbbell wrist curls
plate rotation stopped
- 6x16 22.5kg/49.6lb
It's been a long time since I did any of these "traditional" wrist curls, so I didn't go heavy.

Not really training, but I tried out plate pinching.
I could one-handed deadlift 2x 15kg/33lb pinched together fairly easily (thicker than Rouge calibrated plates, but same flat backside).

I just did this a few times with some 5-6sec holds. Unfortunately I don't have the plates to try 2x20kg.

Grippers - RH
20mm block set, 3-sec hold on each close
- 5x2 Standard Adjustable W, RGC 130
20mm (bottom) choked
- 2x3 Stainless Adjustable, RGC 156

Inch trainer - LH
3-sec hold on top
- 5x1 68.9kg/151.9lb level lifts
My max didn't really increase in the past 2 months, but my muscle endurance definitely got better.
Reps (all from dead start)
- 2x5 58.9kg/129.9lb level lifts

Weighted pause pushups with pushup stands
- 8x16 20kg/44lb
7th set was 14+2, still ok. But I hit muscle fatigue at the 8th set and the last 4 reps were torturing singles. The pauses makes pushups hard quickly.

Triceps pushdown
- 8x16 purple band looped

Decent triceps pump

One set gripper -> one reverse bend :||
RH - grippers
20mm block set
- 5x3 Standard Adjustable, RGC 137, 2-sec hold on each rep
I oiled the spring after the first set, and after that the closes got smoother. Or just placebo.
10mm (bottom) choked
- 2x2 Stainless Adjustable, RGC 168

LH (front) reverse bending
Haven't bent anything for a month.
Leather singles
- CRS 9/32" x 6"
- CRS 5/16" x 7"

55 degrees in 4 hits. Wasn't easy, but wasn't too bad. I just almost passed out after the first hit because I held it so long haha.
- 3 pieces of 5.2mm (13/64") x 6" nails taped together
- CRS HEX 7mm x 7"
- CRS HEX 7mm x 6"

One IMP
- CRS HEX 6mm x 6"
- Stainless 304H 1/4" x 7"

Btw I've sold my GHP #10, because it will never be a functional gripper for me and I'm not a collector. And who knows how long the GHP fever lasts, and now I could make a good money out of it (so I can buy grip toys I actually use or spend it on other hobbies).
My GHP #7 and #8 are still on their way to Cannon for rating. I sent them 2-3 months ago by ship mail (so the shipping fee was really cheap). I don't think I will sell those because I like to use them.

good call on selling that. #10 will always have a value I feel but it was smart to sell it now while GHP fever is still in effect.
