Certification Question

Matt,

I understand your concern, but the way I see it is this; I'd rather have someone certify on a gripper that I KNOW is a "true" #3, then having them certify on something that's NOTHING LIKE a #3 (that would possibly be classified as a hard #2). Yes we all know that grippers vary... and the #3's are no exception.

Would you agree that it would be like kinda like someone running 40 yards and getting credit for doing 50? I would eliminate that by supplying the gripper for the certification.

Consider closing a Robert Baraban 300. No one has yet. Or for that matter, how many of you have ever closed one of his 260s? I'd like to know--I want to start a list on that one.

There is a guy who posted a video of his closing an RB300 Narrow width.

It is posted on Nick McKinless`s website. Would the RB300 narrow be considered an elite close Oldtimer? :) (jus` wonderin`)
