KapMan Posted April 25, 2018 Share Posted April 25, 2018 The owner of CVRG is planning to throw together a bending contest in Airzona in June and is gauging interest. “This post is to gauge interest in the first "Steel Bender's Kumite" unbraced short steel bending competition in Camp Verde, AZ. I am possibly looking at a "bend all you can in 15-20 minutes" portion of the comp, with different bars having different point values, as well as a bend the biggest bar you can portion. The competition would be filmed, so major bragging rights when my 5,000 plus subscribers see you bending on YouTube, plus prizes would include Steel Bender's Helpers, Braced Bender's Helper, Horseshoe Bender's Helper, and other awesome strongman training gear from Camp Verde Rope and Gear. The entry fee would be $15 to cover steel, a small lunch, and insurance. I am considering having this comp in June, so please let me know if you are interested, and if you can make it. There will be bars from Beginner all the way to BEAST. Thank you.” Let me know if you are interested and Ill let the man know. Its nice to see another bending contest being considered.
