I've just started bending and I'm not finding myself able to get the bar right up into my neck like I see most people doing when bending double overhand. Maybe it will just take some practice, but I was wondering if there was anything specific I should be working on to increase my ability to do this.

Here's links to a couple videos I grabbed doing some bends on my first day, and this is pretty much where I can get my hands to.

Is there some sort of cue for my elbows or shoulders that might help?

Nice work, you'll have to bring your hands further out on the bar. Watch these two videos over and over and over again:

Yeah, if you get your hands farther out on the ends of the bar, you should be able to get it under your chin. You will need to get 1/4" CRS.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. I was just doing what felt best, but I suppose that's not always the best way to do things. I've attempted some 1/4", but haven't been able to kink any. I'll give some a try again later this week with what I picked up from these vids.
