anwnate
I can only offer up the theory that I subscribe to. I've always thought my left arm is stronger than my right (even though I'm right handed). In a nutshell, my theory is that my left arm is almost always used for brute strength and for support, whereas my right is used for fine motor skills etc. Because of it's constant use, my right hand has developed a stronger general grip strength. While you use brute strength on grippers, it also relies a fair amount on dexterity. Grippers never quite feel as "right" in my off hand. I believe that in general, pinch relies more of that brute type strength.
