Atomgripz Still Alive?

Very nice to hear that Atomgripz in, I plan to in the near future to buy from them 4, 5 and 6 band, several variations with handles.

I want to ask the users of their products, if any difference in the difficulty in closing the handles: gun powder, mirror finish, gold plated? Or are they all the same a little more complicated when the same spring course? Does the sense of order all four versions of the same model?

The only one I have not tried is gold-plated, but the other two (gun metal and mirror) feel the same. I can't imagine gold-plated has a different feel. I think the reason to buy one over the other is the look.

There is definitely an attraction for me towards the atomgripz - I like the prospect of the narrow spread and the bands look cool.

I am tempted to get the hardest gripper even though I will NEVER close it... I think trying to close it with two hands and doing insane forced negatives with it (even without fall range of motion) will strengthen me faster than slowly working my way up the grippers.

I always train with objects I can't lift until I eventually lift them. For example, I had a HUGE rock in my garden that I could never lift, I kept trying for months (similar to a static/isometric lift). I lifted it to my shins one day, and now I can almost rack it ready for a press (still a long way away from pressing it, but some day!).

Any thoughts on this for gripper training?

We have quite a large order in with them but we haven't heard back..... I hope all is well. It is quite a ways to swim to recover funds. He has sent high quality products in years past. I will keep you posted. R. Sorin
