These DBs have a 1.3" handle and weigh probably 2#. When I get home i'll weigh the blob. I know Wade measured his on a postal scale and was 64.5#. It's not consistant or accurate as one can tell. I weighed a few Other items and some came out the same and others came out light. I'd go with what Wade got of course. Is the difference that your hand actually fits over the face so you could use all fingers? The other guys had no choice it sounds except use the couple that would reach. yes, my hands definately fit over the face with all the finger joints bending over the sides, but not totally flat like rex hubbard though.Parris Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The ring and middle fingers provide the best support through the wrist to the forearm muscles. it makes sense in this type of lift, where maximum force is being placed at the fingertips, that these fingers will be most powerful. I got lucky on that video take that both hands cooperated so well. It felt like glue. But before that video take I kept dropping the blob. It was very frustrating especially after lifting it easily during warmups, when the camera wasn't rolling. Hence the enthusiasm when I finally got a good hold on the thing for a solid video.
