Mr.Moose
I've been looking around for a table that gives the yields for stainless but I can only find for the thicker stuff. Anyone know a site that have some info regarding 3/16" and 1/4"? I know steel (HRS and CRS) vary a lot but what about Stainless, do that vary just as much? Thanks Claes
David_wigren
I've bent some stainless in my days. I've found that it varies just as much, if not more than CRS and HRS. HRS IMO only varies on the smaller diameters. When you use thicker HRS for braced bending, I find that it is extremely consistent.
Mike Rinderle
Here is a good steel progression chart that includes stainless. But yes, stainless varies all over the place. Good luck! http://www.az-grip.com/calibration.php
Mr.Moose
Well, seems like I'll stick to the good old HRS and CRS. (Soon that is, will finish of the KTA first.) That is one hell of a program, strength guaranteed! Thanks for taking time to answer. Claes
