Cannon
I can't see it. I can't either but there seems to be a still with the plates up in the air.
Magnus
It's legit. That video is like 2 years old. I've seen it.
1stCoC
I can't pull it up but it is mentioned about a bar being inserted in between the three plates this makes all the difference in the world.Nice pinch but, still has anyone done 3 York 35s loose? in a full pinch? I would love to see that done Chad or Jedd might be the guys . If I speak with Brian I will urge him to do 3 loose ones.RS

Terrygrip
that is awesome. I think I have seen that video of Chad. i'm pretty sure Wade has done it also.
1stCoC
I would expect that from Chad he has a real monster wide pinch . He did here a full pull of a pair of Deep dish old 45lb plates both right and then left handed. A feat I never have seen repeated or done before. I am not sure if in the vid Wade had a pipe inserted between the three 35,s he did. He might have done them loose later.. he certainly has the strength. Kaz was touted (by other for years to have done 3 45's.) It was repeated almost as gospel. When I asked him directly(Kaz) he said "now listen," NO way, ever!" "that would take a gorilla"RS
Wade Gillingham
I've done it a few times but never got it on video. The video I did get had a pipe in between the plates. I was training for awhile with added weight and 3 35's. If I had 3 good flat yorks to train with at the time it would have been easier for me. The plates I used squirmed all over the place but sometimes I would get them right and they would come up. My brother Brad and several others at Jackal's Gym witnessed this more than once. anson
Brian could do some serious grip strength feats if he wanted to, the guy is a giant!
Kashtan
The width of the total three disks York 35? I want to understand how hard it is. This is harder than pulling an anvil width 4.5 inches at 100 pounds Sorin?

If you said you did it Wade, I believe it! This is called credibility! You have certainly established that in the grip community. HUGELY HARD FEAT!!! Unfortunately it's something you have to have the right plates for. I'm sure brian could do it without the bar, mark felix could also i'm pretty sure, laine snook definately. I honestly think 3 20kg / 45lb is very much possible (if i think it's possible for me it's definately possible for some of the freaks out there!).
