A Little Return To Bending

Recommended Posts

Started bending again yesterday, as I have my first strongman show of the season in a little over a month & need to get in shape. 5/16 grade 2 6", 5/16 gr 2 5". Then because I'm not old enough to have learned to take it slow yet, and those two felt like spaghetti, I tried a 5/16 stainless hex at 7". Successful, finished at 1 7/8". Pretty fun bend & really stiff at the finish. First time I ever tried that stuff, like it a lot.

Awesome bends Big John! I have never tried your SexaBastards but if they are harder than your current batch of CRS Hex I don't want any part of it... :yikes

Thanks, guys! I've been putting that one off for quite a while. Felt really good to do something decent for a change. That was done in single suede to boot. I may play around with something tougher later this week.

John, you always had such an ability for DO. You should do it more frequently, I think you could stir things up in the bending world
