ChrisJames
You'll be shutting that No4 soon mate. Your doing awesome Terry , are you a big fella bro? I struggle terrlbly with weight , all my family do. I'm back up to 290lbs at the minute , as soon as i stop training and i stop eating like a bloody squirrel i pile on the pounds. Terrygrip
I hope so Chris. I'm not in your league mate. I'm around 270lbs and to be honest have been like this for years, I've always tried to get heavier just never been able to. I notice though if I stop training I drop around 30lbs almost instantly. Height wise around 6ft 4. I often read an article about you written in the Milo magazine. Your lifts are incredible.

Terrygrip
Thanks Ben, I'm trying to update regularly, but its hard to get on the laptop. Dad's always last
strongman2332
Thanks Matt, training has been going great lately. Even though i'm moving the 4 gripper, it feels a while of from closing. But I like to stay positive and say I will be closing the 4. The rolling thunder is smooth, nice piece of kit. Just a shame its so expensive. Hows your training going mate? when... i get the 4 gripper closed, i will make a video. Hopefully my daughter will film it this time, as i'm useless with the camera's Always good to stay positive My training is coming along well. Closing the 3.5 seems to be something I will do in a matter of weeks; I was able to get that sucker down to 3mm two sessions ago which Is always good. Have you thought about making a vid for MM certification? Seems to me that you could easily smash an MM3! How does your CCS fair? Possibly an ironmind Cert in the near future??? Good luck and merry training my friend.
Terrygrip
Thanks Matt. I would love to certify 3.5 and of course the 4!! (I will do it someday) CCS (credit card?) is not to bad, a little awkward but think i've got the hang of it. I've missed a few training entry's , due my family. I must make more effort to get on the computer for longer. I was thinking of getting a new laptop in the gym, but no doubt the kids would discover it and i'd find my self with a new training partner!! strongman2332
That's good to hear! I wish you the best of luck with your training. maybe you could fabricate a desk where the computer slides down inside so it can not be discovered! ha
Terrygrip
Matt, i've tried everything. They still find it!! training has been going ok, a friend of my wifes had a go at the number 2 gripper and got to 5mm! very impressive. With a bit of chalk who knows. She's love kettle bells, which have thick handle so guess there's some carry over. Mon 14th March : 5 x No 2 gripper Warm up (both hands) 1 x 4 gripper attempt down to 7mm!! very very happy. 4 x 3.5 gripper closes (right) 2 x 3.5 gripper attempt (left) closed first attempt , 12mm second 3 x No 3 gripper close (right hand) 4 x No 3 gripper close left hand 5 x No 2.5 gripper closes both hands (singles) Holle it up Dumbbell, Right hand deadlift 30kg x 1 , 35kg x 1, 60kg x 1 pr , 45kg x 4reps Left hand deadlift 30kg x 1 , 35kg x 1, 55kg x 1, 35kg x 4reps

Terrygrip
Thanks guys, Matt I haven't got an axle mate, might get one made though to see what I can pull. wed 16th March: 5 x No 2 gripper Warm up (both hands) 1 x 4 gripper attempt down to 9mm. 4 x 3.5 gripper closes (right) 2 x 3.5 gripper attempt (left) closed first attempt , 2mm second 3 x No 3 gripper close (right hand) 4 x No 3 gripper close left hand 5 x No 2.5 gripper closes both hands singles Holle it up Dumbbell, Right hand deadlift 30kg x 1 , 35kg x 1, 55kg x 1 , 45kg x 3reps Left hand deadlift 30kg x 1 , 35kg x 1, 45kg x 1, 35kg x 3reps Pinch grip . 2 x 15kg Olympic plates with bar through them to add weight. Terrygrip
Once again, getting on here long enough to write my training log is proving diffiucult. My daughter was 'downloading' songs and I was not allowed to "mess it up". Mangaged to fashion a 2 inch axle to give it a go. Sat 26th Mar : 2 inch barbell (homemade) 3 x 100kg Warm up (following holles suggestion with little warm up, save myself for big attempts) 1 x 150kg Trying for bigger jumps to keep the reps down 1 x 170kg 1 x 200kg (now feeling strange) 1 x 220kg very happy, although there is no knurling on my bar, so feels so strange. 1 x 250kg Got it , extremely happy!!!!! 0 x 270kg rolled it about! Left it there, my back was not happy with the bigger jumps. Really happy with this. wish I started grip training years ago
ChrisJames
Awesome lifting mate !! That's well over the world record !! With a bit of practice you could be the first to pull 600 lbs !! With this power , you'll give the Big Boys from Sorinex a run for their money !!
lifesnotfair
Holy crap! That's some serious power right there! What did you make your axle of?
Terrygrip
Thanks Chris, i'm sure you can smash the record now mate! your videos are really great. You and these other grip masters are in a different league. Arturo many thanks, I got it from a scrap yard, I cut it to 7ft in length, its a pipe, looks like some sort of scaffolding pipe. I just welded two collars on and away to go.
lifesnotfair
Terry, thanks for the response, but I was asking what it measures? Because some people use a 1.5" inside diameter pipe that ends up being closer to 1.9" than 2" on the outside?? So was just curious.
Terrygrip
Ahh sorry Arturo, its 2inchs diameter on the outside. there's no knurling, but feels nice to grip, maybe some sort of rough paint?
