Reverse Bend Blue

Recommended Posts

I have really been trying to work on improving both DO and DU since I started bending. But DU has started to mess up my BP training. A few weeks ago, I tried reverse style and have been making some decent progress with this. I bent the blue nail about 40 - 45 deg. the other day and was pretty happy with that. I'm going to be trying grade 5s reverse-style soon.

For those of you who bend reverse, and want to take a look at my technique, it'd be appreciated. Thanks!

I would be looking to bend it Terminator style to help build up my wrists more. So keeping it low would be more benificial to building wrist strength?

Nice Reverse bend !!!! I believe if you line up as straight as possible in line with your anchor hand you can get a better explosive hit on the metal. I also think someone should find their own strength groove and go for it :mosher After you start mastering YOUR groove, then try someone else's groove if you wish :) IMO, where ever you find your groove, it has about the same impact on wrist strength, you STILL have to hold on to the same/larger/smaller piece to bend it and your wrists can only handle what they can at the time period :)

Thanks, guys. I will definitely try to check the angle of my anchor and bending hands. It's been a lot of fun trying to learn a new style of bending!
