Bending In Relation To Grippers

I was going to take up bending this weekend for the first time, I'm going to continue working grippers but I was just curious to know if my bending improves will my gripper closing and gripwork in general improve overall as well?

I think if your doing heavy gripper work it will probably be the other way around. After my first round of KTA my wrists were 1/2" larger. I had done bending in the past with about 4 months total training bending a best of a 6" x 1/4" Grade 8. After over a year off of not bending and a little into my second round of KTA I bent a 5" x 1/4" Grade 8 the second day I bent. I had also gained alot of upper body strength from doing powerlifting traing for about the last 5 months, but even with that theres no way my wrist's would have been strong enough without the gripper training.
