petersante
I just started bending this past weekend. I plan on putting all my bent nails and bolts into a 5 gallon bucket, then after my bending sessions to do some Eagle Loop finger lifts with the bucket. The more I bend the stronger my support grip will be. Ideally I will be lifting the full bucket with just my pinkie after bending for a while. What do all you experienced benders do with your bent trophies? I'm assuming that some of you save some pieces as trophies, such as milestones in your training? AP
Made a chain out of my 60d nails. Its about 8' long hanging in my gym. http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?app=gallery&module=images§ion=viewimage&img=6309
petersante
Jedd put up a new article and video at Dieselcrew.com about keg lifting. He puts his nails and stock in kegs for lifting. I am going to get a keg for sure. I have been considering odd object lifting anyway.
mmainlands
Consider breaking everything that you bend. Awesome workout. Just try and open it up, even if just slightly, and then close it again, repeat, etc.. The opening really hits the shoulders and upper back. petersante
Seems like a good idea. Strangely enough my second bending workout ever I broke a 60d nail in half. I was bearing down on it hard to ensure that I would get the 2" and I heard a pop. It freaked me out at first I thought I had messed myself up or something, but I snapped it in two. That is how I new they were weak nails (that and the fact that I bent them my first time ever bending). Good old Lowe's always quality products...
