rico300zx
Wade or Richard Will there be a 2nd generation trainer that you two could work on that would be a exect molded replica of the anvil points actual shape, opposed to what is currently being sold? Wade Gillingham
Wade or Richard Will there be a 2nd generation trainer that you two could work on that would be a exect molded replica of the anvil points actual shape, opposed to what is currently being sold? Rico We don't have any plans for this at this time. The cone is a great trainer for anvil lifting. It's very hard and has a similar diameter and taper as the Jowett. It's what I used for the Mighty Mitts and honestly the anvil felt light in my hands after doing 180 on my training cone (slightly different than what we are currently selling). My problem in the contest with the anvil was the ackwardness of carrying it. If the event is in the contest next year and I'm invited to participate, I will prepare by training both the cone and carrying an anvil. 1stCoC
I personally have two alternatives for anvil training. One that is tapered and oval like a actual horn( as used for warmups at the Arnolds Mighty Mitts backstage) also have some great 14lb cast horns that are in a testing stage but feel and look real good... they will season and feel very much like actual anvil horns and actually when loaded stand off the floor a normal(as with an on end anvil) height.
