mgjenn23
I was perusing Lowes for hex cap screws and decided to pick up a few 1/4" x 6" carriage bolts on a whim. How do these compare to G5s, for instance, of the same dimensions? I guess I'll find out for myself when I try to bend them tonight but I'd like to know other's experiences as well. naturalstrength
I was perusing Lowes for hex cap screws and decided to pick up a few 1/4" x 6" carriage bolts on a whim. Carriage bolts would be extremely easier compared to G5 of the same dimensions. The reason is for the threads throughout the length of the bolt(thus the decreased bolt diameter), plus the softer steel! Get g5's insead!
