JAU1985
Took some stock with me to work today and tried my hand at some reverse style bending. I took two pieces of 1/4" x 7" round stainless, one piece of 1/4" x 6.5" round crs, and a 1/4" x 7" Hex crs piece that ended up being isometric work. I took the two stainless pieces pretty far, the 6.5 round crs was a lot harder funny enough, I think that extra half inch really makes a difference for me right now. Either way, I'm pleased with myself and these bends were all PR's, so that's a great thing. All of my reverse bending was done in single leather wraps, I think I will enforce my bending rest that I had planned for myself before today after I get one of these reverse bends on video. It's just so damn hard not bending every day... the addiction is strong with me. Anyhow, here is a picture of the pieces. http://www.machinegrip.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/reverse-1024x859.jpg
bencrush
Very nice start! You're not having a problem bending them off-center either, which some people do when they bend reverse.
JAU1985
Thanks Ben, if I'm not warming up with Shiny Bastards DO within a year, it's not for a lack of trying on the bending front that's for sure.

EricMilfeld
Nice work, Jonathan! And sometimes you just NEED to bend every day. No sense fighting the urge.
JAU1985
Thanks Eric, and you're right... no sense fighting the urge. Tried the same thing today and it just wasn't there, wanted to record my reverse on video and I didn't come nearly as close as I did the other day. After literally 10 minutes and my camera cutting out on me I was about half way where I was the other night in less than half the time. Oh well, tomorrow is another day. jpmmkrahling
Thats some really good reverse bending. There are alot of us that can not do that even after bending for a little while, keep it up
