First Bends

Just started getting into bending recently, over the past couple weeks I worked on technique with a few easy 200lb spikes. After getting the hand of DO I was able to get a galvanized 60d bent, and I was also able to get a 7" piece of 1/4" CRS, the steel I had to kink with a reverse grip then once it was well kinked I went to a DO.

Great job on those bends!

I started out with the same technique that you described, then I moved on to just DO, now I'm back trying to reverse bend everything. Working more than one style will definately give you more overall strength to bend bigger steel. Keep up the good work, just be sure to let your joints rest in between workouts. My left elbow seems to hurt whenever I do a lot of reverse bending.
