EricMilfeld
I should be receiving the gripper in a day or two, and will then immediately send it on vacation to Germany. Give it a nice warm welcome, Frank and Martin.

EricMilfeld
Still no gripper? With this Customs Form # you can track it via the US Post Office: LC000987615US. But all the information I get now is that is was mailed on the 13th of this month. I remember another gripper getting tied up at German Customs due to the estimated value of the gripper. I've since reduced the claimed value to only $20. The whole thing has me worried now.

FrankyBoy
We did out cert yesterday. Pretty much everything what could go wrong went wrong. We build up the whole setup outside to have a good light. Shortly before we could start it began to rain. So we went in the basement, built up the setup there with two cams and did our attempts. I checked the vid from the main cam and it was crap, only funny colors and lines on the tape. It WAS a new tape. Should have made a test beforehand. So we checked the vid from the backup cam and it turned out that the cam was out of focus almost everytime due to the bad light down there. During my 2nd and 3rd attempt which were held shut like 10s each, not a single clear frame could be found... After work today I'll send in the vids. Gripper will be sent back today.
