That setup looks wide, man. How many millimeters is that?

63mm

I think something around 54-57mm would be optimum.

Axle DL's

110x10

180x10

200x10

These really tax the forearms! I haven't done wrist work in a while, and I think it definitely shows while doing these. After the DL's I did some wrist work with a sledge.

Bench

135x10x2

225x3

275x1

305x3x3!

Close grip was tweaking my bad elbow a bit. Was going for 265x5 but after two reps decided to stop. Last thing I want is that elbow inury back.

Did the 305x3x3 feel any easier this time?

Last time I didn't get 305x3x3, I only got 3 reps on the first set.

This time I think on the first two sets I could have hit 4 reps. First set for sure.

Got the SW in the mail today. Frank did an outstanding job on this! Worked my way up to 50lb's in plates, and all I have to say is OUCH! The SW is pure pain! This thing is going to force my hands to toughen up.

TTK Negatives

12.5lb's, 10 per hand.

SW

45lb's in plates: 6 per hand. Not very long negatives, hands are still too pathetic for a full blown negative

No shame in that. I made that handle pretty long, so a little weight goes a long way.

Nice. Anything over 300 isn't shabby, IMO.

Try some explosive rows with it, too.

  • 3 weeks later...

I've been working out, just to lazy to post the logs.

My strength is going to be down a bit since I'm doing cardio in preparation for softball season.

  • 1 month later...

Had a killer workout on Saturday. Did my first real SW workout, which only involved 3 negs per hand, but afterwards I couldn't close the hg150...

Today the #3 was sitting on the coutner in the kitchen. Grabbed it and closed it...

So I got the camera out:

No chalk, no warmup.
