wscorpion
Lol Well, I'm not really happy about the result, but we'll see what the judges say about it....
Bill Piche
3 reds. Inconclusive was the typical response of the judges.

And my favorite question as I try and gauge what I'm up against----What are your impressions of the gripper? Also, where do you feel your strength was on that day? wscorpion
Thanks guys! Sorry Mark! And my favorite question as I try and gauge what I'm up against----What are your impressions of the gripper? Also, where do you feel your strength was on that day? Actually, I didn't feel that the gripper was hard at all. Sure, it's harder then a #3, but it has such a smooth transition from an easier sweep till the close, that it's a really nice gripper. My strength that day (and the day before) wasn't what it should be. Before my break 3 weeks back I was close to closing the #3.5 and could easily rep my harder #3 which is about the same as this MM1. Now I had a hard time closing my hard #3 but the MM1 was here so I had to go for it. I did close it on my 2nd attempt, but the set was too deep. and I couldn't really hold on to the close. So yes, better luck next time, but next time I'll make sure I can easily close that gripper even on an off day Mark
