I think I'm pretty close to being able to kink one in IM pads...not sure about crushing, because they are more slippery than suede. Perry - unlike yourself, I still had a MAJOR struggle with 5.5"x1/4" square. I don't know about the red nail at that length. I have it on video, but I won't be able to unload it until tonight after work. I think I got it in under a minute, but it might be close...I misjudged the crush angle and took the wraps off with the bar a hair over 2", then I couldnt get the one back on and had to do a half-assed rewrap for the last hit.
