Thanks for your replys the voting will remain open thru this coming Monday at 12 midnight.

You can take a look at the little known (not in body size) gripster that will be present with Tex... Rich Williams a 390lb mountain of strength. Parts of his recent training can be seen on our latest week in review clip on our sorinex.com site. On first trys he toyed with several of the Grip gauntlet items. I found the chalk "dust" piled up in the grip area this morning and Bert said they( Rich and Tex) strolled in and "killed" some very hard grip items, then precdeded to knock out some rep deadlifts with mid 700lb.- to 800 singles. RS

I'll lift those along with Chad, House, Tex, and the others.

I just love to prove predictions like this wrong.

Everybody remember when folks were predicting I'd come in 7th/8th at the GGC?

Of the group listed Chad may be the lightest guy there - Holy Moley!!!! Land of the giants - I would guess Richard will "have" to jump in as well - I can't see him watching - even in that group. And while you may only score 6 events - I bet when it's over - there's a lot of other items on the list that get some air time - please - please video the whole thing! This is going to be great.

Would love to see you prove me wrong Rex but I'll stick with my prediction and say "no you won't".

I am becoming very interested with the predictions and most of all the thought process behind them. Several of the "nobody" will do predictions were already done easily by Rich Williams on his first try with no warmup the first night he came in here but, I feel their other predictions might be "right on". In retrospect I wonder what on the list is the hardest feat..I never really thought about it. I have done most of them ( all Original Gauntlet items) but, never thought what was percieved by the grip community and myself as being the most worthy feat.

Flash! I just got an update from my son Bert and he said Andrew Durnait is on his way here to visit us today...now, that is one strong guy! I wonder what he might try???RS

Care to elaborate on which ones Rich did?

The 2 finger CCS of the Silver Crush #3 is easily the hardest feat on the list IMO.

He pulled the 3" 181# DB...it is up on the Sorinex site.

He also pulled the Blobs...not at the same time though...also on the site.

The man is strong...we shall see...I will be ready :D

The things Rich did on his first night in here...1,2,3,7,10,11,14 ...the Circus Bell came up a few inches every time he tried but not a full pull. Several things were done reaching over other stuff in the grip area trying not to disturb anything . All was done pretty calmly. I would really be careful getting him mad or too worked up...I don't know what he could do............

The leading choices in the voting up to this post are 1,8, 13,15, and a tie between 3,6,7 Your vote DOES count! RS

#15 was done "off camera" last night according to Bert with a 52.5 and 53.5 (similar to the 2 Originals) by one of the "Pack" that was present.RS

Thanks for the information Richard. Hope to be proven wrong on all predictions; will be awaiting video of the contest with baited breath :D

On a side note; will the 2 fat 45's be the gleaming painted ones we see in the background so often or an old patina/worn pair? The ones in your pic didn't look like they had the fresh paint but it's hard to tell. Depending on the paint, that adds a whole new dimension of difficulty to an already daunting task.

I just watched the video of Rich and Tex.

The group photo may have to be an aerial. :)

Just watched the video and I'd have to agree :blink

The 45s are part of my collection of 28 of them. They all have decent paint on them probably not original but done years and years ago. Most of them when weeighed are heavy and marked as so up to 47.5.

haha i want a crack at those dinnie stones!

PAUL LET's make it happen!

lmao sick stuff...since i'm new to grip i'm not sure what would be crazy to see and what wouldn't be. I do however think that 400lbs of concrete should be poured into a box mold with a handle embedded in it to give us a "replica"

Voting closes for 6 grip items to be tested 12 hours 15 min from now. These gentlemen are some of the best present day grip men brought together for some grip fellowship. I guess anyone that could hold a candle to Mr. Woodall the reigning Global Grip Champion would feel proud just to be there trying. RS
