GarytheDino
Let us know the spread too, it looked rediculous.
lukeamdman
I had a new 2008 #3.5 that had a 3" spread, and calibrated to 192lb's! The spread on that one looks very wide. I can tell it will calibrate high.
David_wigren
Strong attempt! You will get it next time. Like the others have said, I noticed right away that it looked really wide.
tja
I also thought the spread looked huge. Good attempt!

Exactly my thoughts as well. This was a very solid attempt, and you are an extremely strong person-not just in grip either!- I know you will eventually get this, continue to train hard and I'm sure you will be on there soon! Juha Harju
Thanks to everybody! Matti Heiskanen will calibrate the #3.5 gripper this week. I will tell it here when I know the result. This #3.5 gripper spread is 77mm ( over 3 inch ).
Teemu I
I had a new 2008 #3.5 that had a 3" spread, and calibrated to 192lb's! The spread on that one looks very wide. I can tell it will calibrate high. If you still have that, I would buy that from you.
lloyd80s
Great try man, I'm sorry you missed it. Let it motivate you more to get it next time.
Bill Piche
Great attempt! Are all grippers that wide now? Are all 3.5's that wide?
Teemu I
Great attempt! Are all grippers that wide now? Are all 3.5's that wide? Most of them tend to be pretty wide, but as always there's a significant variation to both ways. My easy #3.5 is a good example of the narrowish side. ewokhugo
Juha: isnt necessary to do a video of u closing the #3.5(ccs) before taking the certification?
Teemu I
Juha: isnt necessary to do a video of u closing the #3.5(ccs) before taking the certification? If you mean that is it required in the rules, then the answer is no. Anyone can just go ahead and try.I also think that Juha should be ready for most #3.5's, as the most tend to be around 3.45 or so it seems this far. ewokhugo
i thought the rule was : take one vidoe of the close (ccs) and send it to ironmind ... (of the #3) does the rule changed toward the #3? Juha is strong hope he close it next time! Edited October 7, 2008 by ewokhugo
Teemu I
I'm not sure what you mean, but IronMind's certification does not require any videos whatsoever, not before or after and not with any gripper.
Juha Harju
HI! My Cert gripper is calibrated. IM#3.5 / 80 kg / 176.6 lbs / rating = 3.45 I am confused. Only 176.6 lbs? Now I know I am weak.

Haha, no you aren't weak. You should remember that you can't trust the numbers that the RGC spits out. Maybe you had an off day when you attempted the cert. Juha Harju
Congrats! Next CCS? CCS with this gripper ?? :blink Hahahaha... I think maybe Teemu can do it. My BBSE_2 / 85 kg / 187.63 lbs / rating = 3.64 is hander than this Coc#3.5. It is my second target. My " best shot with BBSE2 " is 0.5mm short of close.
