Porn Sites For Benders

I kind of enjoy the cutting of bending stock with a hacksaw and then filing the ends. I've almost worn out the second blade. It's a nice sort of active recovery thing for those non-grip workout days. I can really feel the difference when cutting HRS-CRS-stainless. I've only cut a few pieces of stainless but it doesn't go down without a fight. I was amazed when the blade didn't come up missing a few teeth. :happy

(sorry for keeping this thread going off-topic)

Go find a cheap Chop Saw. I want no part of Bolt Cutters unless it's for a quick cut every once in awhile when it's too late to use the Chop Saw. Bolt Cutters will ware out, it's more difficult to cut with them, and if you're picky about that little sloppy bit on the end it's no good either. The Chop Saw will need a blade replacement every 1500' of metal, (depending on what it is) you can grind the ends down perfect, fast, easy, and when you bend a lot of metal a must have. :rock

Back when I bent alot more metal I finally took some good advice and bought a $40 chopsaw from Harbor Frieght anf it was worth every penny and a whole lot more.

I used to cut those small increments off with ease and then roll the edge on the disc for that clean no spurs look that were alot more user friendly to my leather wraps. I found with a thin disc that you waste very little metal and it would be a very good purchase for those going after PRs by making 1/8" or even 1/4" increment cuts to the bars length.

Just my over statement of the obvious and rienforcement of the common sense rule. :D
