foxyj75 Posted July 7, 2008 Share Posted July 7, 2008 it's down to a tad below 2.5 inches now.It seems like I can't find a sweet spot on my hands for the crushdown with this bastard. The stainless is so damn slippery it keeps moving around in my pads which I think is kinda scaring me to push as hard as I can now for fear of another bruise on my jaw! Help guys! I agree with Ben about pushing the pads up further, as I do the exact same thing. As far as a sweet spot for the crush down, try putting the ends of the bar on the fat part of your thumb pads. Interlock your fingers loose at the top, tight at your pinkies, and try that free-hanging post thingie. You want the whole thing to feel really tight before you even start cranking on it. CaptainCrush Posted July 7, 2008 Author Share Posted July 7, 2008 Ok I'm back from a ho-ho run and the coffee is brewing...I was barely able to hold the pot full of water to pour in the coffee maker If this combo comes through again I may take this secret to Hostess and get a coffee flavored ho-ho produced which in turn will have my ugly mug bending a MOAB on the box wearing a jockstrap and cape!
