IROC-Z
Do a Google search with the words "Morton gripper calibrator". I made up one of these devices a few weeks ago and it works great. I mount it to the side of my workbench with two large C-clamps, and then I use an ATV jack with a 3/4" piece of plywood on it to set my loading pin with weights on. You then lower the ATV jack down to close the gripper. If you need to add weight, just raise the jack until the pressure is off the strap - add weight, put the strap back on the gripper handle, and lower the jack again. I hope this helps!
