It looked like you needed someone to give you a "high 5" after the lift to help celebrate but nobody jumped up. Jedd has his work cut out for him now if he wants to go after the record. David Horne Posted April 6, 2008 Author Share Posted April 6, 2008 Thank you to everyone! I think I can get a few more kilos on it this year, my bodies overall strength seems better. We started the contest outside on the lifting platform, and when we got to my first attempt at 115k it started to rain (you can see the rain on the photos and videos of this). Anyway I carried on and got it to about an inch. We then dashed everything in from the rain outside to the gym in the cellar, and loaded the weight back on again. This time it was fine. I think all the carrying of the weights down to the cellar actually helped as I was lovely and warm by the time I lifted again. As I've always said warm hands are a BIG must in pinch lifting.
