The deadlifting numbers are going up fast.

-Rex

Thanks Duder, the plan is working so far. Pretty happy that my back felt great after the workout last night. I think that I left at least 1 or 2 in the tank and that has been helping. How is your stuff going?

It's been going well. I'm using your program for the bench press right now. 275x8, then a week later, x9, then x10 a week after that. About to reset to 290. I was going to ask, suppose I get to 290 x 8 (after x6 and x7), and it's time to change the exercise to incline bench (six week cycle has ended). I then do the six weeks on incline, and go back to flat. Where do I start as far as weights and reps when I go back to flat? 290 x9? This is a general question about your program--what weight/# of reps to start with once you go back to some exercise.

Cool, love to hear about progress. I think 290 is too light a reset weight though if you are resetting to 6 reps. you should be good for 8 or almost 9 with 290 already. I would go 305 or 315. 305 would be an easy 6 like a small backdown week. 315 for 6 would be about the same 1RM level as the 10x275.

As far as the starting weight when you switch back I would say yeah go back to the same weight and see where your at. If your shooting for a 6-10rep range stay in it though. that means if you get to 10 reps on your first workout after the switch stay there and leave some in the tank for the next workout after the weight bump. I always found myself to be at least as strong if not stronger when I switched back after the alternate 6week training cycle.
