I guess its kind of funny everyone was trying to accomodate me with the dates and events and now Im prob not going to go. Ill try to keep you all up to date on what ever progress i could have. Anyone know of any Father-Son entries in a Grip Comp before? My kid is average height, 7 1/2 inch hands, a #2 closer, body strength better than me (doen't say much), except he will have only done 4 grip workouts. My dad WILL be competing with me in some contests next year (Cactus grip, BBB). Does that count? Hehehe Oh and also, there's a miniscule chance I might be able to talk a parent into driving me out there. DOn't count on it, but I'm just stating my intentions. I have a leg injury that has not been diagnosed, and shows zero improvement after 4 days of bedrest. There is no way I can make it, and obviously my son won't be coming solo. And I was the strongest I had ever been, too. I have not spoken to Kevin Meskew, and don't have access to his phone number. If someone could email him (I will PM but that usually does not work with him) I would apreciiate it. I am very upset about this, but there is nothing I can do. Rick put on a strong performance and took the honor of 1st place overall. Hopefully Ronnie or Kevin will post the result up soon. Always have a good time at these contests. I didn't compete, but Odd and I made a cameo appearance at the end of the show. Odd did a 504 double overhand axle deadlift and a 257 RT with a broken middle finger on his right hand. Dang.
