Paul Savage
29/11/07 just did a quick tester to where my RT is at, i did 87kg each hand, i suck at that thing..but that is PR at least >considering the past two days sessions im pretty sure i am capable of 90k+ with each hand. This is my worst grip lift without a doubt, probably because of my high loading pin, i always have to kinda upright row the thing to lift it off the ground, so im gonna get a shorter one, and will be looking to bring my thickbar lifting up in general >training for this will involve RT an 2.5in wrist roller / holle it up dumbbell an 2.5in V-bar

Paul Savage
7ish? I could probably do the thursday instead if it would be better for you. about 7 or half past would be ok i think, not sure exactly, ill check what time i get home 2moz - thursday in the day time would most likely be ok but not sure on that either, if my dad is on nights he will be trying to get sleep so id have to ask him. Friday night is most likely ok because there shouldn't be anybody else in the house, my parents pretty much always go out on fridays so we could play loud music, make noise, drop a few weights an whatever, basically have a proper sesh. Right now it's not the best cuss i can only train in my room, i have to do proper sessions when nobody is here because they dont like the noise. I will be getting a gym made outside to train in somewhen, things will be different then.

mbcx6pmw
I used to train at Hard Labour in Latchford sometimes, heard O'Malley's was good too though. So yeah could do that or you could come over to mine if you've got transport? I only train in an upstairs bedroom too, so not ideal. My wife is away on that friday though, so I would be allowed to play loud music too

Paul Savage
noob -yeh it's a proper gym e.g it rains outside and inside! I would prefer to do heavy squats as well so i dont know if you would have enough weight or want to use that much in you're bedroom (i dont like going over 200k in mine but ive never fell through an died yet so i do every now an again), but i dont have transport anyways, apart from public obviously >i have only just started learning to drive, its never really been a concern of mine. O'malleys would be ok i think, the music is s h i t or none though, i always listen to my own - i wont be able to bring all my grippers an equipment obviously but ill bring enough. That be alright then? in a perfect world, thursday in the day time would be best because the gym should be pretty much empty, but you might have work? twig - pitofsuffering blog? got a link? No, I don't have that much weight, nor any stands etc. So yeah I can come over to O'malley's, but yes I'd be at work thursday daytime so would have to be evening of thurs 13th or fri 15th. That said, I may be able to get out of work early (mid afternoon), so I'll let you know.

Paul Savage
i had a pretty easy day in work yesterday compared to what ive had recently, an after many contrast baths, my hands actually felt pretty good for today, only thing im avoiding is pinch cuss my thumbs have been beat up since i last did pinch holds - stuff from ironmind arrived today, actually 1st yesterday (pretty quick) but i was in work 06/12/07 grippers - #1 / #2 x whatever each hand (all IM TUG closes are no set) >top two fingers< - TUG #6 x 1 each hand - TUG #7 x many sets upto 2 L / 6 R >bottom two fingers< - TUG #6 x 1 each hand - TUG #7 x fails each hand - TUG #6 2 x 8-15 each hand holle it up dumbbell deadlift (weight is plates only) - upto 85kg x 1 each hand rolling thunder - upto 79kg 3 x 3 each hand extensors - upto drop sets of blue, green, white for max reps my review on what ive bought >IM TUGS are awesome! i hope these will help get me the 500 shut before the years out, probably more like the #7 will though! the #6 is a lot easier. The spread is wider on my #7 an i think that makes a difference with the bottom 2 fingers, i can hardly get them around it, but it's the same with the 500, so thats great! holle it up dumbbell i dont really know cuss i couldn't really use it, since most of my plates didnt fit on it! + any plate i got on was a struggle - the bar was too thick even though it's supposed to fit standard plates..really lame. The shorter loading pin for the RT i bought was even worse, couldn't use it at all cuss whoever came up with the design for it forgot that you need a hole big enough to fit the clip through..again, REALLY lame. Extensor bands are good, for the way i do them you dont need a ton of resistence, but obviously you can combine bands anyways, so happy with them. Ive also got a new #4 upstairs, it's staying in the package for now
Teemu I
About the equipment: it says on the IM website as follows. "Will my plates fit on your bars and dumbbells? No matter how good a bar is in principle, it's no good in practice if you can't fit your plates on it, and maybe in the interest of rounding things off, some people mistakenly think the sleeve on an Olympic bar is 2". The official IWF measurement is 50 mm, which is about 1.97", and while you certainly don’t have to worry about an Eleiko bar being anything but spot-on in terms of meeting these specs, you should also know that the ends of our Apollon's Axle, the revolving sleeves on our Buffalo Bar and S-Cubed Bar, and the ends of our Olympic Husky Handle Dumbbell Bars have always been made to this standard because .03" might not sound like much, but it’s enough to keep a plate with a regulation-sized hole from fitting on, a big annoyance you will be happy to avoid. The situation is a little trickier for exercise (standard) plates, because most will fit on a 1-1/16" bar, but some will only fit on a 1" bar. Our Big Boy Dumbbell Bars, Three-For Nesting Husky Handle Dumbbell Bars, and Wrist Reinforcer all have 1-1/16" ends, so be sure your plates will fit, to avoid frustration. If need be, take your Big Boys or Wrist Reinforcer with you when you go to buy plates—then you'll be sure you’re matching apples with apples. Why do we use this size on these products? To give you an extra margin of strength and security—our customers include the strongest people on the planet, so we design our products accordingly." Also there's info about Holle-it-up: "The Holle-It-Up dumbbell is plate-loaded so you can train progressively on it. It's a 1-1/16" diameter bar (for exercise plates), that is 20" long, with a 2-1/2" diameter handle." So I guess you didn't read the information before ordering? Also there are different size clips you can use to attach the RT to the pin. I'm sure the IMTUG work will help you.
