from my own experience in sport i agree, you always keep something of your former prowess. I can still put a 14 pound shot over 50" despite being in the worst shape of my life and not having lifted a weight for over 5 years.

I remember I read an article about elderly gymnasts who retained a tremendous amount of flexibility and stength despite not training for their event for over 40 years.

As previously mentioned if Ben does jsut a few hard DO bends every month his performance will suffer a lot less than expected.

As demonstrated by the 27 second mag last week :tongue
