Lacknotch
I have been taking some time off from grippers (not going to meet some of my years end goals becaus of this, but oh well). In an attempt to help my left hand catch up with my right hand I have made a concerted effort to use only my left hand when moving weights around in the gym (i.e. putting plates on the bar). I on occasion will pick up my #2 and do a few squeezes just to see if I am losing any of my strength and to my surprise my left hand is getting closer and closer to closing it (haven't closed it lh yet). I just found this interesting and thought I'd share. .
Soilworker
My left is the same way. I shut the #3 with it without touching grippers in a month.
