Good job on the log Matt. Looks like the press is getting better.

Atleast you have regular plates at the gym you work out at, all we have are those stupid rubber coated ones with lips on both sides, and hubs 1/8" deep on a good day :dry .

You getting excited for the 3.5? Mike said they are here (he got 2).

When are you coming back from break?

December 30th - Events W/ Some Regional Boys

Trained with Los Something or Other with some fellahs in the area...there a thread in the main section on Marunde's. Was a real good time.

Farmers Walk - Few sets for ~35-40 feet, topped at 300 which is a PR

Log Press - Used my split jerk for 265, and missed 285 once, then got it but couldn't hold it, both PR's however because I don't know if I have cleaned than much but ah well

Yoke Walk - Same as FW, but worked to 700 for a 40 foot run with 3 drops, more than I've ever tried.

Atlas Stones - a few singles, loaded a 285 with tacky...I SUCK AT STONES!!!

Some grippers mixed in (closed the #3 a few times, but once again wasn't able to get it on video, who cares!)

One arm DB GLobe press at 150, friggin fun.

Yeah, good time, probably missed something but who cares, move heavy stuff.

Damn Matt, looks like you had a ton of fun. You'll have to fill us in on the details when you get back. Which reminds me, when are you coming back to train?

Purely by likelyhood I shall show up misteriously and unannounced such that we may hoist things of heavy. MY park was covered in ice and thus, I was ne'er able to test the might nor fotitude of said implement.
