Can Someone Tell How Many Sets/reps I Should Be Doing?

Back when I was a teenager and played hockey and we didn't have heavy duty-grippers here in Finland, one of my grip exercises was to squeeze a tennis ball with all my might. It's not so bad, helped me a lot.

If used right, it's a tool not just for the beginners.
