herc
We did the cert. yesterday. I closed it several times . The first close is the only one that stayed on camera the whole time. Video looked good. I have a whole new level of respect for the guys who made this gripper look like a toy. The gripper and video will go out Mon.
Bill Piche
The video attempt submitted, was reviewed by the judges and ruled not closed. George disagrees for the record that it was not closed. The attempt was also disqualified for not following the proper set rule. This was clearly violated.
Bill Piche
For the record, there's the attempt: http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?act=mod...cmd=si&img=2301

gamidon
I want to point out that I agree with the judges ruling. I just realize how strong you must be to even hold that thing closed. I am sure you can get it done with a little practice on setting the thing within the MM rules. Greg
showlarson
From experience I know that it is often harder to get good tape than a good close! You looked quite strong so practice setting on film and try again and it won't be a prob.
