gamidon
Hey Dude, Nice seeing you last night, keep training! Hands feeling sore is a good sign. Greg
opnsysme
Really. mine is definitly harder then my #3 like a 3.3 if there is such a rating
ishred
crap...i think i bought the wrong gripper. i meant to get the supermaster.....damn.
Matt Brouse
HaHa I did that too when but I bought the supermaster instead of the master (or whatever the lower one is).
Mikulich
My GM is much easier than my #3. I'd say 2.7 woudl seem reasonable. I think the differences are due to the handle spread. Here is a picture showing the difference in spread http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?act=mod...cmd=si&img=1154 Oddly enough my GM is no harder than my SM. Go figure? ishred
HaHaI did that too when but I bought the supermaster instead of the master (or whatever the lower one is). ← did you want the heavier gripper? i'll trade you the GM for the SM. opnsysme
My #3 is a 2004 , and I did the same thing, I bough it and had to put it away for a while, or do negs with it! I should have bought a SM at that time. but now its been a great stepping stone. I'm looking forward to the Elite now
mooinabc1
Know I like to the BBGM=270 cool. Cool discussion. I swear my 2004 double stamp is almost as hard as the BBE. Handle spread is 3 inchs and 1/16.
pdoire
just got my BBGM today....can't really tell how tough it is since my workout yesterday left my hands hurtin today. feels like a 2.7 just from chest crushing it. ← 2.7 would be a BBSM 3.0-3.1 would be a BBGM

Not looking to trade, sorry dude. Kicks its ass though.

I can close it pretty confidently but the 3 still makes me cry.
ishred
my gm is definately harder than my #3. not sure how much harder, but it was tougher to chest crush.
ironorr
I find that my GM is easier than my late model #3's, so I would probably estimate them to be fairly average as far as difficultness.
Matt Brouse
"I would call my SM a 2.7," That, from my post above is supposed to say "wouldn't".
pdoire
Back to the old standby..."Grippers Vary"
Kurt Lane
For my grippers SM- 2.6-2.7 GM-3.
bencrush
Again I'd have to say the spread has a lot to do with how hard the SM and GM are. I had a 2.5" GM that was probably a 2.7 or so. The 2.75" GM is at least 3.1 and maybe a tiny bit higher than that.
OldGuy
The greater the spread the harder the gripper will be to close. There will me more tension on the spring, as it will be wound that much tighter.
