Bill Piche
Gripper arrived. I turned it around right at the post office to the witness. Gripper is on it's way to Todd.
showlarson
Yes, Todd is my witness. Maybe I can start a Larson Thanksgiving tradition of a grip fest before the meal.

showlarson
Todd told me the gripper arrived yesterday. Since our schedules are complete opposite the cert will have to take place this Friday (Dec 3rd). Will get it out ASAP on Saturday. Thanks. Jedd Johnson
Shane, once you close it with a parallel set and overcrush it, let's see how shallow of a set you can close it with. This guys an animal, fellas. -Jedd-

jad
I thought one of the Larsons posted they could close a BBSE so if it's this one I'm sure it will make for an entertaining cert video.
showlarson
Closed it around an hour ago. Video looks good and will be sent out asap Sat. Jedd, I was able to no set the MM1 on the video-I was so nervous that I had tons of adrenaline pumping through me. Jad, I've come very close-within millimeters-on a BBSE while HOLDING the spring w/ other hand. If I remember correctly I actually didn't explain myself very well on that thread regarding the SE and caused some controversy regarding rule #4. BTW thanks for all the props guys

showlarson
I lucked out on the no set becasue upon reviewing the tape the first one that I did w/set wasn't an ideal shot..I think it would pass but it would be close. A moot point though as the consequent closes use better angles and catch the close better. Thanks again guys...I wish I would have followed the advice of several guys here and started this process earlier.

larsontodd
I witnessed Shane close the MM1 yesterday while we were both training. Nice Job Bro!! Shane closed it nicely with a "no set" which both hands. After the cert attempt was taped we both played with #3, BBE and the BBSE. Shane's training is going super after the "break", I think that his aspirations of being in the sequel to Over the Top is gone I predict lots of heavy grippers falling in the near future, if not already Todd Larson
