Recommended Posts

Clay joins the list, as #4 to bend the 7" x 5/16". Congrats Clay!

We need to name this thing. Any suggestions?

Fat bar?

Steel Bastard?

I think these sound lame, but that's why it hasnt got a name yet.

How about Tubby-Ass the 1st? That leaves room to name tougher bars.

Or you could call it the Chartruse? The Burnt Sienna? Or if you want to stick to the basics, call it the Black. Ironmind hasn't snatched that up yet.

Oh yeah, and congrats to Clay!

Thanks. The difference in the bar strength is significant. It feels to me like a 6.5" or 6.25" red

The Fat Bar is a good name I think. 3/8" could be The Fatter Bar and 7/16" could be The Fattest Bar.

I know!

Mr. Goodbar! :D

If you were going to go in progression how about:

Bastard Nail

Big Bastard Nail

Bigger Bastard Nail

Biggest Bastard Nail

Just think of how many guys would write home to mom, "Guess what mom I am a Bona fide, Big Bastard Bender!"

Congrats Clay!!

Or how about:

5/16" x 7" = Big Bastard

5/16" x 6.5" = Stout Bastard

5/16" x 6" = Strong Bastard

5/16" X 5.5" = Super Bastard

Great job Clay. That's a nice bar ain't it?

Beast bar might be a name.

It feels like Shrug's pink bar.

Pink was tested at over 100#s more then red.

How about naming it after the guy who offered that Challenge (the Beaty Bar) or the first man who rose to the challenge (the Mildeld bar)?

Great job Clay,

John try something cheesy,

like Clay bent "7 inches inches of DOOM"

or the "unholy rod of eternal suffering"

Ok I'm done, sounds like stuff power metal bands sing about.

Disclaimer: To my knowledge, Clay Edgin has never shit his pants while bending.

I will wear this endorsement with pride!

I like Gordon's suggestion. Maybe with a modification?

Bastard Bar (6" X 1/4" round)

Big Bastard Bar, 7 x 5/16" (Triple B #1)

Bigger Bastard Bar, ?" (Triple B #2)

Biggest Bastard Bar, ?" (Triple B #3)

What if I just drop the "Big"? Then everyone who does it could be a certified bastard... :D .

I could do the

7" x 5/16" - Certified Bastard

6.5" x 5/16" - Certified Big Bastard

6" x 5/16" - Certified Huge Bastard

7" x 3/8" - Certified King of all Bastards
